Our Story
HERStory: My Sisters Keeper was born in a circle — a room full of young women of color who picked up a pen, wrote the truest sentence they'd ever written, and heard their sisters say: "We see you."
That circle was created by Jessica Disu — known as FM Supreme — a Chicago-based artist, peace activist, and community leader who has spent her life at the intersection of creative practice and social change. She didn't build HERStory because she saw a gap. She built it because she knew what it felt like to need it.
That circle started in Chicago. But the story belongs to every young woman who has ever felt like her voice didn't matter, her past defined her, or her future was already written for her.
It doesn't.
When you wear HERStory, you carry that circle with you. Every hoodie, every tee, every journal is a declaration — that you know who you are, you own your story, and you are part of a community that sees you.
Every purchase directly supports our programming for young women ages 16–24, keeping HERStory free for every participant, every cohort, every year. Because her story shouldn't cost her anything.
Wear the story. Write the future.
